The last time we were pregnant from an IVF cycle, our first beta came back at 76. That number never really increased, and we ended up having a miscarriage at 7 weeks.
Today, my first Beta came back at... wait for it....wait for it....
224!!!! Eeeek!!!!
My nurse said they want it to be at least 50, and they are thrilled if it's over 100. Progesterone was 25 today, which they are okay with. I have to go back Friday to make sure it increases at least 60%.
Omg...224. I'm in shock. This does not feel real. Twins?? Omg!!!!!

CONGRATS!! That's a very strong beat number!!! My numbers were very high the first several Hcg tests they did...numbers that were jumping (more than doubling) and were thinking twins...my doctor said that doesn't always mean twins but usually is a good indicator! He said in cases where the numbers increase that significantly and it's only a singleton, it just means it's a VERY STRONG pregnancy! :) EIther way, a single blessing or double blessing...HE/SHE/THEY ARE AN AMAZING BLESSING!!! CONGRATS again and continuing to pray for you and Andy and this miracle(s)!!!!!!
