Weeeeeeee're back! Hiding out in the cribs again trying to write our updatessss. It has been a rather eventful month!
We are sitting up better and started the month rolling wherever we wanted to go. And then...THEN, we discovered...the army crawl. Ohhhhh yeah. We're still trying to perfect it because we only seem to go backwards, but Mommy makes us play on the floor a lot now. She refuses to let us jump off the bed. Dang it. We can even do the "downward dog" and half-shimmy in that position until we do a face-planting dive into the floor. Ouch. Daddy says changing diapers now is imposssssible.
We like to sit up in our bath duck now, and have discovered that the wet stuff is so much fun! Daddy told us that we are flooding the bathroom every night and need to be more careful. There are just so many...toys! We can't resist. We have also figured out how to pick up our pacis, put them in our mouth, and even steal each other's pacis. Just getting started on that whole sibling rivalry thing earrrrrly.
A has decided that he likes to jump out of the arms of whoever is carrying him. He didn't get the nickname Spider Monkey for nothing. He also prefers to be carried on his back so he can eat his feet to pass the time. We are worried about him and believe he has a foot fetish. He tried to suck on Mommy and Mmmie K's toes as well. He also likes to sleep on top of Mommy and lick her face.
A is also back to getting up several times during the night for snacks. Daddy said it was because his ears hurt. He had his third ear infection this month. Boohiss. Every time he goes to the doctor he gets to flirt with the nurses, so it's all good. Flirting is his forte.
B is starting to sleep on his belly a lot now. He was soooooo scared at first and would cry out for Mommy and Daddy to roll him back over. He also got his first and second ear infections this month. That doctor dude said that we can't get tubes until we've had 6 infections in 6 months:( Boooooo to insurance companies. He is also blowing raspberries like A and saying Dada a lot.
We tried pureed chicken for the first time eva. It was pretty sweet. We also enjoyed some squash, sweet potatoes, and apples. Also, Mommy let us have our first ever lick of a dum dum when we were sick at the doctor's office. Shwing. New potatoes, avocado and turkey are on our hit list. Nasty gag nasty. Blech.
Our Pawpaw and Uncle David came to visit us this month and it was so much fun! We also got to spend the night away for the first time everrrrr. We stayed at our Mmmie K's while Mommy and Daddy went to a football game and tried to catch up on some sleep. We don't know why they need to catch up. They told us they love getting up with us all night. Gah.
One more thing...it's Happy Birthday Daddy month! He turned thirrrrrrrrty nine. That's pretty ancient. Mommy taught us how to make cupcakes for his birthday. We also got to go out to eat and sit in highchairs for the verrrrry first time. Hey Daddy, did you know that you'll be forrrrty next year? Ouchy! Haha!
