What upppp peeps?
Mommy doesn't know that we're playing on the computer. She thinks we're fast asleep in our cribs for the night. Harhar! We have to hurry up and do our monthly post before she catches us. Aunt Bizbet taught us how to do bullet points alllll the way from Chicago. She's sooooo smart.
- First off, Mommy says thank you for all of the Torticollis advice. A has been stretching and doing exercises and his neck is much better!
- Our Mimi, Coop Daddy, Memom, Papa, Aunt Lala, and Hailey Mae came to visit! We finally got to meet our Aunt Lala and Hailey. They are pretty fly for some white girls!
- We experienced our first birthday party ever...Hailey Mae turned 3!
- Our Great Uncle Michael and Great Grandfather Mandaddy came to visit too! We are sooo popular.
- We started
mumbling shouting out more consonants this month! We've pretty much have the Dah Dahs and Ooh Ma Mas down pat. Mommy and Daddy think we're calling out their names, but they are sadly mistaken.
- We like to creep side to side in our cribs. Mommy can't figure out how this is happening. She also can't figure out why her computer goes missing at night.
- We get to try a new food every Sunday. So far we've gobbled up carrots, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, apples, and avocado. For the record, we HATE avocado.
- We're starting to prefer Mommy and Daddy's arms. We pretend to be bashful and hide our faces when strangers are coming at us.
- Mommy calls us Giggle Monkeys...we looovvve to be tickled and love to laugh!
- Anderson caught up with Baney and graduated to size three diapers.
- We're in size 3-6 month or 6 month clothes, depending on brand. Right on track peeps.
- We like to drool and chew on everything...so far no toothies. We can't wait to chomp on some hamburgers. Maybe we can sneak those at night too.
- We can sit up in our boppies allllll by ourselves. That ceiling and looking up Mommy's nose was getting kinda old. B can sit on his own for about 10 seconds. Then he falls over and go bump. Harhar.
- We don't particularly like pacis, but B occasionally sucks on his thumb at night when he's lonely. He's a scaredy cat at night.
- A experienced his first, and second double ear infection this month. His left drum perforated and he cried sooooo much. We all gave him kisses and medicine and he is feeling much better.
- B finally rolled over (back to stomach) for Mmmie K on 8/20/12! He now practices his Ninja skills across the crib with A. He has, however, shown a bit of jealousy towards A. Growin' up ain't easy.
- We like to look through the crib bars and find Mommy now...she plays peek-a-boo and cracks us upppp. We also like to play peek-a-boo while she's drying her hair.
- A looooves to listen to us sing whilst napping on our shoulders.
- Mommy and Daddy say that B is the happiest baby ever. He's always smiling and only cries when he is hungry or sleepy. A is a "Momma's Boy" and enjoys cuddling and being carried around.
- At our six month checkup, our doctor said we're doing perrrrfect. We think he wanted to eat his words after our shots though.
- A weighed 18 lb 2 oz (65%), was 27.5" long (85%), with a 17.5" head circumference (26%).
- B weighed 20 lb 6 oz (95%), was 27" long (76%), with a 18" head circumference (94%).
