Sinus infection and chest cold. Ahhhhhh. Andy and I have both been battling the crud since last weekend, and I don't think there is anything safe for me to take...is there? I've searched online, but I don't want to take any chances. I'm afraid to bother my OB again since I made a rather uncomfortable call to him last week. By uncomfortable, I mean that I had to go...there.
The bunghole. I think it is literally falling out of me.
I have always had issues with hemorrhoids (thank you genetics), but I guess all of the extra pressure is wreaking havoc on the winker. I'm doing better today, but it got to the point where it was a thrombosed cluster of grapes making it hurt to walk, stand, sit, and sleep...and bright red blood that scared the living daylights out of me! He prescribed a hydrocortisone cream which has helped. I'll take the 'roids all day every day since I know that I'm going to get two babies out of it, but dang man! Pray for the bunghole!
An....y....way, sorry for the TMI. I just find it humorous that something like this would happen to me. And it doesn't help that my work involves standing on my feet most of the day.
Annnn.....yyyyyy....wayyyyy...on to a happier place. The babiessss! I am definitely going through a growth spurt. My belly is measuring about 28 weeks (for a singleton). They are the size of papayas or spaghetti squash, and are on pretty consistent sleep/wake cycles, sleeping about 12-14 hours per day. The nerve endings in their fingers have developed a sense of touch, and they are busy feeling their faces and pulling on the umbilical cords. They even got to punch one of my coworkers today! We didn't name them Boom Boom and Pow for nothing.
Also, please pray for Andy's parents. They are unharmed, but pretty much lost a majority of their house in a tornado that hit Auburn yesterday. As of now, they are staying in a hotel until the damage can be assessed. We were supposed to go visit for Thanksgiving, but are now stuck in South Carolina because Andy has to work Thanksgiving Day. Please pray that the damage can be fixed, or that they get into a new home quickly! I swear that the only good thing that has come out of this year has been my pregnancy.
22 weeks 1 day
Our sweet boys are in there!

Ouch girl! Sorry you've had these issues, and glad you are getting some relief!! Bunghole...hahahaaaa you must like beavis and butthead as much as I do. Hilar. Sorry to hear about Andy's parents, will def say a prayer for them! So glad boom boom and pow and growing and kicking like crazy - I actually miss being kicked in the bladder. Wait, no I don't. I do miss the sweet little kicks and nudges though, until they got so strong I thought I might keel over. Take a video of them kicking your tummy, it's cute to look back on. :)
You look great!!
Oh and sorry you've been sick - I tried my best not to take anything, but when I had a terrible cold last winter I did take just regular sudafed just to be able to sleep at night for a few days - my doc and my pharmacist all said I could take it. You can't take the sudafed PE or multi-symptom versions of it but just the regular ole sudafed. Tylenol cold is approved too.

heads up, I gave you a blog award.
Hi,
I too had problems with roids with my third child Cam. I used Tucks Medicated Pads. Wipe the problem are with them after going to the bathroom, then put 2 pads on the winker(as you put it). Do the same thing everytime you go to the potty. It worked wonders for me.
Best, Carla
One more award to give you :) stop over for the details
