Here we go!!!

It's finally time for my first, and hopefully last, IVF cycle! If all goes according to plan, a cycle should take about 6 weeks. For the next few weeks I will be taking birth control pills. This is to suppress my system so that they can time everything just perfectly. Wow, birth control pills....didn't I get off of those things for a reason? I haven't taken one in over 4 years, so I'm a little anxious as to how they will affect me. From the looks of all of the injectable medication side effects, the pills should be the least of my worries. So, we'll see!

In a few weeks I will start incorporating different injections, but for now I will just concentrate on this part. One day at a time, right? I will keep you all updated!

You are so crazy...but we love you anyway! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this...although I guess now I won't be the one to give you your injections, huh?! Haha. Anyway, Bear & I are praying for you and Andy! Let us know if you need anything at all. We love you.

Your mom led me to your blog. She has been reading my blog from it's start and has been so supportive of us. She is a sweetheart. I will be praying for you as well as you start this cycle.

You have a great sense of humor and a way of making all of this medical stuff very easy to understand. :)

This is not only a great vehicle for keeping us informed, but for also getting things off your chest when necessary. Y'all have been in our prayers for a long time now and you know how much I know what you're going through. So much of it feels like it was us just yesterday! Uncle Dave is watching over you, too! I know that you'll have you baby someday because God's timing is always perfect!

Love, Aunt Mollie and Elizabeth

Hi Jessica, this is Paula, your mom's cousin in Tallahassee. I wish you and Andy all the happiness in the world. I admire your bravery just "putting in all out there." Best of luck on your journey!

Hey Paula! Thanks so much...it really means alot! Hope you and the rest of the family are doing well. Will you be here in September for the reunion?

Paula...I meant birthday party...but it's a reunion too!

Yes,I'll be there. We won't know until closer to the time whether Larry and Kelly will be coming, too. I'm excited to have an excuse to get everyone together! We are such a big and spread out family that it usually takes a wedding or a funeral to get us all in one place. Not planning on either one for awhile, so a birthday party it is!
